Application for the Blended Intensive Teacher Training (BIT)

— developed and facilitated by the Erasmus+ Teacher Academy SciLMi 

This professional development course is designed for secondary school teachers.

It explores the student competences defined in the SciLMi Framework of MetaScientific Literacies, with a primary focus on the competence domain Click and think critically: Select and analyse information on a socio-scientific issue.

Through engaging, hands-on activities and reflective exploration, participants will develop a deeper understanding of key concepts and strategies, practise applying these strategies in context, and refine their teaching techniques to empower learners in mastering meta-scientific literacies.

 

 

 

There are no course fees.
Travel and accommodation expenses will not be reimbursed and need to be covered by your own Erasmus+ KA1 funding.

The course is confirmed and will take place as scheduled.

To apply for the training, please submit your application. 

Participants must agree to take part in the SciLMi evaluation research.

 

  • You will receive a decision on your application within three business days.
  • If accepted, you will receive further information and be asked to arrange your travel and submit confirmation of your travel booking (train / flight) to secure your spot. 
  • You will be staying at Hospedería San Martín Pinario from Sunday, 15 June (arrival day), to Saturday, 21 June (departure day), at a rate of 75 € per night.
    An invoice will be sent to you before the training with details on how to pay. Please make sure to pay upfront, following the instructions provided in the invoice.
  • Full participation in the course is required. This includes attendance at both virtual sessions, presence throughout the entire on-site week up to and including Friday, and active involvement in the SciLMi evaluation study.
